ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") describes the acceptable and prohibited uses of the Esyana Field Maintenance Management Platform ("Esyana", "Service", "Platform") provided by Sadeid, a company registered in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under Registration Number 1210822026 ("Sadeid", "we", "our", or "us").

This Policy applies to all customers, users, administrators, technicians, clients, and any other individuals accessing or using the Service.

This Policy is part of the Esyana Terms of Service and SaaS Subscription Agreement.

By accessing or using Esyana, you agree to comply with this Policy.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that Esyana remains:

  • Secure

  • Reliable

  • Available

  • Safe for all customers

  • Compliant with applicable laws

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their users follow this Policy.

2. Authorized Use

Customers may use Esyana only for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Managing maintenance operations

  • Creating and tracking work orders

  • Managing assets and devices

  • Scheduling preventive maintenance

  • Managing technicians and teams

  • Managing spare parts inventory

  • Generating operational reports

  • Communicating with clients

  • Managing service contracts and warranties

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • All activity performed through their accounts.

  • Managing user permissions appropriately.

  • Protecting login credentials.

  • Ensuring employees and contractors comply with this Policy.

  • Uploading only lawful and authorized information.

  • Maintaining confidentiality of client and employee information.

4. Prohibited Activities

Users must not use Esyana for any activity that:

  • Violates applicable laws.

  • Violates third-party rights.

  • Compromises security.

  • Damages the Platform.

  • Interferes with other customers.

  • Misuses system resources.

5. Account Security Violations

Users must not:

  • Share passwords with unauthorized individuals.

  • Access another user's account without permission.

  • Attempt to bypass authentication.

  • Create fake accounts.

  • Use stolen credentials.

  • Circumvent account limitations.

  • Attempt unauthorized privilege escalation.

6. Unauthorized Access and Security Testing

Users must not:

  • Attempt to access systems, databases, or accounts without authorization.

  • Scan, probe, or test vulnerabilities without written permission from Sadeid.

  • Perform penetration testing against Esyana infrastructure.

  • Attempt to bypass security controls.

  • Exploit vulnerabilities.

Security researchers who discover vulnerabilities should report them through the appropriate security contact channel.

7. Reverse Engineering and Software Abuse

Users must not:

  • Reverse engineer the Platform.

  • Decompile the software.

  • Disassemble application components.

  • Attempt to extract source code.

  • Copy proprietary functionality.

  • Create competing products based on Esyana's software design.

8. Malware and Harmful Content

Users must not upload, distribute, or transmit:

  • Viruses

  • Malware

  • Ransomware

  • Spyware

  • Trojan software

  • Malicious scripts

  • Harmful code

Users must not use Esyana to distribute content designed to damage systems or networks.

9. Illegal Content

Users must not store, upload, or transmit content that:

  • Violates applicable laws.

  • Facilitates criminal activities.

  • Contains stolen information.

  • Violates intellectual property rights.

  • Contains fraudulent information.

Examples include:

  • Fake invoices

  • Fraudulent documents

  • Unauthorized customer records

  • Stolen technical documents

10. Intellectual Property Rights

Users must respect intellectual property rights.

Users must not upload content unless they have the necessary rights or permissions.

This includes:

  • Software

  • Images

  • Documents

  • Technical manuals

  • Designs

  • Logos

  • Reports

  • Customer materials

11. Privacy and Personal Data

Users must:

  • Collect and process personal information lawfully.

  • Obtain required permissions before uploading personal data.

  • Protect confidential customer information.

  • Configure user permissions correctly.

Users must not:

  • Upload personal information they have no right to process.

  • Share private information with unauthorized users.

  • Use Esyana to violate privacy rights.

12. Customer Data Usage

Customers retain ownership of their data.

Customers must ensure that uploaded data is:

  • Accurate where required.

  • Lawfully collected.

  • Appropriate for business use.

  • Properly authorized.

Examples of Customer Data include:

  • Client information

  • Asset information

  • Maintenance records

  • Work orders

  • Technician reports

  • Photos

  • Documents

  • Invoices

13. Excessive System Usage

Customers must not intentionally:

  • Consume unreasonable system resources.

  • Attempt to overload the Platform.

  • Generate excessive automated requests.

  • Abuse API limits.

  • Circumvent subscription limitations.

Sadeid may apply technical restrictions to protect service availability.

14. API Usage Rules

Where API access is provided, users must:

  • Use API credentials securely.

  • Follow documented API limits.

  • Avoid unnecessary requests.

  • Protect API keys.

Users must not:

  • Share API keys publicly.

  • Use APIs to attack or disrupt systems.

  • Reverse engineer undocumented APIs.

15. Automation Rules

Esyana provides automation features that may create work orders, notifications, or other actions.

Users are responsible for:

  • Configuring automation correctly.

  • Reviewing automated actions.

  • Ensuring automation does not create excessive workload.

Sadeid is not responsible for business decisions resulting from incorrectly configured automation rules.

16. Email, SMS, and Notifications

Customers using communication features must:

  • Send messages only to authorized recipients.

  • Follow applicable communication laws.

  • Avoid spam.

  • Maintain accurate contact information.

Users must not use Esyana to send:

  • Unsolicited marketing messages.

  • Harassing communications.

  • Fraudulent messages.

17. User Conduct

Users must not use Esyana to:

  • Harass others.

  • Threaten individuals.

  • Discriminate.

  • Impersonate others.

  • Spread false information intentionally.

  • Conduct abusive behavior.

18. Competitive Use

Unless explicitly authorized by Sadeid, users must not:

  • Use Esyana to build a competing SaaS platform.

  • Copy the platform structure or workflows.

  • Extract information for competitive purposes.

  • Benchmark the Service publicly without permission.

19. Data Export and Scraping

Users must not:

  • Scrape platform data using unauthorized methods.

  • Extract data from other customers.

  • Circumvent export restrictions.

  • Access information outside their permissions.

Customers may export their own authorized data using available tools.

20. Security Reporting

Sadeid encourages responsible security reporting.

If you discover a potential security issue:

Please report:

  • Description of the issue.

  • Steps to reproduce.

  • Affected features.

  • Potential impact.

Users must not publicly disclose vulnerabilities before allowing Sadeid reasonable time to investigate and address the issue.

21. Enforcement Actions

If Sadeid determines that a user violates this Policy, Sadeid may take actions including:

  • Warning the Customer.

  • Restricting specific features.

  • Temporarily suspending access.

  • Removing harmful content.

  • Suspending user accounts.

  • Terminating subscriptions.

  • Reporting illegal activity to authorities where required.

22. Investigation Rights

Sadeid may investigate suspected violations to:

  • Protect the Platform.

  • Protect customers.

  • Prevent fraud.

  • Comply with legal obligations.

Investigations may include reviewing:

  • System logs

  • Account activity

  • Security events

  • Usage patterns

23. No Security Guarantee Against Customer Misuse

While Sadeid implements security measures, customers are responsible for:

  • Protecting their credentials.

  • Configuring permissions.

  • Training users.

  • Maintaining internal security procedures.

24. Changes to This Policy

Sadeid may update this Acceptable Use Policy periodically.

Changes may be made due to:

  • Security improvements.

  • Legal requirements.

  • New features.

  • Industry standards.

Updated versions will include a revised "Last Updated" date.
